If you want satellite observations rather than assimilated datasets (which models the land surface temperature and uses Tair) then use the ESA-funded Globtemperature datasets. There are various satellite LST products that are already processed and have nice flags for uncertainty and cloud. They even have calculated merged GEO+LEO products if it's a time period you are interested in. Worth a look? http://data.globtemperature.info/

I have used this website before https://daac.ornl.gov/cgi-bin/dsviewer.pl?ds_id=1345 to get climate related data. Also, you can calculate ET from the variables given here minus wind speed (see NOAA: https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/data-access ). CropWat ( http://www.fao.org/land-water/databases-and-software/cropwat/en/ ) will also model those variables for you given the correct inputs.
