Can we contract the multiplication of two triplets of the group S_4 as
1. (3_1 *3_1 ) contracted to a triplet (3_1) and multiplied by a triplet flavon (3_1) to get in turn (3_1 *3_1 ~ 3_1 * 3_1 (flavon) ~ 1)
2. (3_1 *3_1 ) to a singlet 1 and multiplied by the same triplet flavon (3_1)
to get in turn (3_1 *3_1 ~ 1 * 3_1 (flavon) ~ 1)
at a time and with the same flavon VEV which is going to break the S_4 symmetry at a perticular scale??
N.B : finally to be contracted to the singlet representation "1" as the terms in the corresponding lagrangian should be singlet in nature.
