Great full thanks for your prompt reply. I have basically Graphite nano fibers doped with Nitrogen and Fluorine. I have XPS spectra of all these samples. Based on the articles in Physical Review B Volume 61, Number 20, Page 14095 and J mat Chem A 2013,1, 8665-8671, I can understand that the Band gap of these materials can be calculated form Raman Spectroscopy, I am interested to know theoretical or practical band gap calculation form the XPS spectra. Let me know is there any way to calculate it. I am happy to provide you any further information, if required?
