@ Manar, so far I know we do not have one sensor which detects plastic, paper and metal individually. Actually we have individual sensor or set of various sensors, one sensor for plastics, one for paper and one for metals. Still, we don't have technology where only one sensor can detect all types of materials mentioned.
@ Manar, Capacitive sensors are capable of detecting plastic, wood, and other raw materials including metal. An inductive sensor can detect only metal. Capacitive sensors are capable of detecting plastic and you can check the IDEC plastic sensor. WT4-3, WT9-3 or WT12-3 fast miniature and small photoelectric sensors use a precise light spot to detect the positions of the paper front and back edges, regardless of the color of the paper.
