there is some good info like Bolt's and Louden's about appropriate proportion for rectangular room, but all of them are usually about studios. I am looking for some thing alike about open or semi open plan classroom.

Thank you for answering, but i was looking for specific physical character of the classroom itself. Blended learning method is a kind of strategy in teaching system.
The width, height and length of the classroom should not be multiples of each other, to avoid standing waves being set up. If possible, avoid parallel walls entirely.
proportions as such will not necessarily be enough to provide the right answer. Standards like BB93 might help with guidance and I think is the closest you will get that is something like "a standard" Speech Transmision Index is probably the best indicator as it will include reverberation and backgourd noise as part of the compressed index. Proportions of a room and factors like bolt's, etc I doubt will be of much use as really as you will only see the impact on low frequencies. It could be interesting to see how the this factors will affect the modulation of the MTF in the STI but that is probably outside the scope of your question. I would say that it will depend on what your ultimate goal is and why you are interested in the proportions of the room. As I say if you are interested in the modulations for the STI then you might have hit something interesting. if you are just looking at a fast way to estimate speech intelligibility then I would recommend to use the STI.
