I am interested to know cases of albinism in flowers of orchids, especially of the genus Himantoglossum (partly included in the past in Barlia).
In: "Giovanni Spagnoli, Leonardo Damilano 1997. Il GIROS a Creta. GIROS Notizie, 7: 1-17" some albinos specimens are recorded from Crete.
Hi.
Thanks a lot for your information! I hope to find this article, which is of high interest to me...
Best regards,
Rubén

Best regards from the Canaries,
Hello, I am joining this question late in the day!
When you ask about 'albino' forms, do you mean lacking chlorophyll in any part of the plant as opposed to 'albiflora' forms which lack certain chromophores in the flowers?
I mean mostly "albiflora" plants, with completely (or near complete) white flowers...

There are a few papers dealing with the effects of climate change on the pollination of European orchids, but I wonder if similar studies have been carried out in the Tropics.

For weeds whose roots deepen more than the level of subsoil, they may be affected by this layer, for example, determined by height and growth, as well as limited to flower production and seeds.
