I want to know the other method rather than supervised/unsupervised classification for LULC mapping. As this method is now a days very common so please suggest me some other methods for classifications

If you are open for object-based image analysis, various segmentation methods can be also proposed.
Image segmentation and Object Oriented Image Analysis in Matlab or E-cognition, Knowlege classifier in ERDAS, Decision tree Classifier in ENVI, Linear Spectral unmixing or Mixture tuned map filtering(MTMF) and ANN etc. But depend upon results you want.
i here from my supervisor there is a technique called subpixel classification . it is better than others
