I want to know the pH value of the pore solution inside the concrete in different ages.So, can anyone please suggest me any methods to find out the pH value of concrete pore solution without taking it out.
If we need to take it out then I will be happy if you can provide any methods to get pore solution from concrete other than high compression.
If you can give a link to papers I will be very thankful.
By crushing Concrete, Concrete powder is obtained and mixed with distilled water 1:1 ratio and heated, stirred and filtered through watman paper represents the concrete pore solution.
a teacher of mine used to make a hole in the concrete and fill it with distilled water, after sometime the pore solution will leach and you can have an idea.

First, you prepare concrete powder and mixed with distilled water in 1:1 proportion by mass and then properly mixed and stirred for half an hour. Then boiled for 30 min and allowed to settle and cool for 10 h to the ambient temperature. After that, the solution was filtered through Whatman No.1 filter paper.

Just a comment about the suggested method in which the concrete is crushed, mixed with distilled water, boiled etc. I believe that one needs to know the amount of pore solution that would be released from the concrete to obtain quantitative results. This does not seem to be the case in the methods suggested here. In addition, some aggregates may release ions (for example, alkalis) when subjected to these rather harsh treatments (this is however a minor point).

We are routinely using the high pressure dice. This can be used on cement paste only, surely not on concrete. But it is a valid and quantitative method.
