In some study main finding was "Education appears to benefit women by both maintaining stable marriages and dissolving violent ones" (J Marriage Fam. 2013 Jun 1). Sounds good but question arises whether or not Higher education(University Post Graduation level) among women have negative Impact?
Post-graduation level education fades the emotional Adhesiveness among women as compare to less educated house wives, Makes women more independent less compromising, hence slightly increases divorce rate.
Highly educated women avoid marriages, because they do not find suitable match and I see the divorce ratio of highly educated and normal educated women is nearly same.
You are right sir @Dr Ahmad but I wonder despite their level of education divorce is rampant among them
Marriage everywhere in the world is an auspicious sign of gay & happiness & that is why it is saying that Marriages are born in heaven .
In this beautiful sound the word divorce becomes a morbid picture as it is cut of the life of joining to separation & when in case of divorce ,if there is a family it creates a very disturbing problem at present & future stage .
In higher education for women their mind work with broad outlook with independent freedom the more intellectual attitude & outlook are the basic sound for all the ladies learning for higher education .
In selecting the life partner they should not move only under sentiments but should try to understand the qualification & outlook of the partner they are choosing .
If there is a omission & mistake in the said direction the chances of divorce may certainly remain a part of marriage union .

This of course doesn't isolate women's education level.

I am from traditional Hindu and rural back ground, my grand mother simply followed my grand father without any hesitation, my mother a housewife but some times she gave suggestions to my father. Today the scenario was was completely changed due to education and employment, women think and act according to their wish. Today they are more confident and self determined than the yesterday years. In yesterday years family structure is quite different, there are combined families which always monitor the problems and other issues. But today every where nuclear families with out any proper psychological guidance.
I dont think there is any co-relation between highly educated women vs less educated women against incidence of divorce.i think it depends on many factors .Education is one of the minor factors.
