Well, there are some funding possibilities at the European level going, the calls are going out regularly, and I would suggest you consult their website. Also, there is the European Erasmus programme, they might also be suitable. But make sure you look into their conditions and criteria carefully before you make an application. Good luck.
You can start browsing on H-Net (Humanities and Social Sciences Network) Funding (Fellowships, Grants, Scholarships, Prizes). There are many funding programs, but the competition is really tough. However, you have to start somewhere. Best of luck!
