When investigating polaritons dispersion in a composite ferrite-semiconductor structure being under an action of a static magnetic field I have found two different types of the surface polaritons: those that merge into the bulk polariton region at a finite value of the wavevector k and the others which continue to the same magnetostatic limit with the bulk polaritons. Is there any (practical) importance in such surface polaritons dispersion features?
