As I think only few papers are available on this field also very few database I found which is also up to 1990 or 1995. Does someone know about these data or other available database or recent research on this topic.

Hilary Cane and I have compiled a widely-used list of ICMEs since 1996 which is available a the ACE Science Center at

The version currently available there only goes to the end of 2013, but I plan to make a further update in the near future. The list includes links to the related publications. There was an on-line list of MCs observed by WIND compiled by R. P. Lepping, but it is no longer at the original URL Also check recent publications on MCs by Lepping, and C.C. Wu.

Details of classification depend on the scientific aims. It is necessary to note that many people separately study the various interplanetary manifestations of CMEs near the Earth: MC and Ejecta as well as the compressed region before them Sheath.
