Dear all, I would like to examine if readers of a given text are trusting the information included in the document. Is there any questionnaire from the social sciences/psychology that can be used to examine the credibility of a text?

This question is not easy to find exactly the positive answer because narrative credibility depends on Reader response! check better it but all must come from the Reader response via narrative. That's a good question !

If the question is about "veracity-honesty-truthfulness", then the right people to answer are those who study linguistics, rhetoric, written communication; also perhaps cryptography, military-police intelligence; perhaps also the fields of law and jurisprudence.
If the question is about the validity-reliability-believability of qualitative accounts, then the generally accepted view is that there are "Writerly" as well as "Readerly" ways of assessing these. This field (narrative qualitative research methods) is vast. A good starting point is the massive "Handbook for Qualitative Research", Norman Denzin etal.
