I am asking for possible modifications on cement based materials in order to make hydrophobic materials out of them.
Consider an environment with dominant water presence, what would be a good approach to use cement based materials to fill the waterproof holes.

• External: rain, fog, dew and snow
• Internal: high humidity in kitchens and bathrooms

Dear Amin Moeini,
recently we published a paper on this theme. We exploited a used motor oil from vehicle, fresh motor oil, silicon oil and hydrophobic sand. Then we mixed it with cement and water until hardening.
The results were very interesting cause in all cases ability of concrete to suck water inside of its structure fell down significantly.
But the maximum loads of our forms were suffering from loss of strength. Only hydrophobic sand samples showed promising results.
