This may seem nit picking but current thought on validity and reliability is that a scale/tool/survey is never considered valid or reliable. Rather it is the scores produced by a scale/tool/survey that are indicative of validity and reliability "evidence". Its really the joint contribution of the tool, participants, and the context that result in scores considered valid and reliable. Both the APA and AERA speak more extensively about the above in their position statements.
