I am interested in polymers with Tensile Strength, Modulus of Elasticity and Stiffness closest to PEEK and that can be processed by molding or thermoforming.
Along with other PAEK polymers, PPS, PEI, PAI and PA66 are some of the options I am considering. I guess I am looking at an optimal trade-off between price and the mechanical properties I mentioned.

PAI is not cheaper than peek, and much more difficult to process
you can use PPS but it is always with fillers, so much stiffer
PA66 with fillers but beware of moisture

I would go with PA66 (Ultramid A, Akulon, Grilon T, Zytel...) which tensile strength, modulus and elongation are similar to those of PEEK. Good and cheaper alternatives to PEEK are also PA46 (Stanyl) or PEI (Ultem).
