Is there a technique to measure the phase transformation or chemical reaction at ultra high temperature (> 2000 degC)? DSC/DTA typically available can only go to 1500 ~ 1750 degC.
In fact, I need to find out a proper technique that allows characterization from 2000 to about 2700 degC, which is beyond the available DTA/DSC, and the services that the manufacturers provide. I have pyrometer, but I have not tried using them for thermal analysis yet. Are you talking about using the emissivity change to identify the reaction or phase transformation?
