Is there a technique that can be used to characterize the surface condition (such as flatness and warping) at very high temperature (> = 1000 degC)?

Have you used the High-Temperature X-Ray Diffraction (HT-XRD) method?HT-XRD allows the crystal structure of materials to be examined at high temperatures. Shape changes such as curvature and flattening on the surface can be linked to changes in the crystal structure of the material and can be examined by this method. It can also determine phase changes on the surface.
