Is there a spike in activity, notably in the Q&A section just before Monday's calculation of the R G score in order to boost your own score?

Are we becoming obsessed with improving our own personal scores by any means necessary when in fact our time can be more productively spent actually conducting research and publishing?

I didn't know that RG scores were calculated on a Monday! I know I am more active on RG on a Monday because I like to catch up on what has happened over the weekend.

And yes, I agree- there is time-wasting potential, but I have also made some great connections and shared research to an audience that wouldn't otherwise have accessed it.
