A progressive web application is a web application that with a behaviour like that of a Native application. At the Google I/O developer conference in 2016, the media introduced a PWA experience, made possible through the use of AMP, Accelerated Mobile Pages. AMP is a new standard for publishing content that provides immediate page load and content delivery for mobile users. A native application is a software program that is developed for use on a particular platform or device, the two main mobile OS platforms are Apple's iOS and Google's Android.
