I want to know if there is some type of GFS or reanalysis data available to forecast rainfall, wind speed, etc. in advance (24 hour advance) using WRF?
Yes there is GFS data available for the rainfall field also and you can use them to forecast for your region using suitable sub-grid scale parametrization schemes using WRF.
You can also validate your results form the noaa web interface of forecast. You will find there the experimental precipitation forecasts, including deterministic and probabilistic forecast information produced with a rank-analog technique similar to the one described in Hamill and Whitaker (2006). It also presents graphical forecast products similar to ECMWF's Extreme Forecast Index.
