In general, total municipal waste generation is estimated with multiplying unit municipal waste generation rate by population of municipality. On increasing population, total waste is supposed to be increased. For the projection of waste generation over the planning period, In case of forecasting unit waste generation rate, is their any correlation with other known parameters such as population, GDP etc...
