Dear Piyali Bose I discussed this journal before here on RG https://www.researchgate.net/post/Is_this_Journal_Hijacked_or_it_is_a_genuine_journal Basically the message was:
Warning! I suspect that this journal “Educational Administration: Theory and Practice” is either a hijacked version of the legit journal or (in this case most likely) an example of what used to be a legit journal that turned into a predatory one. I see numerous red flags:
-The journal is in the meantime discontinued in Scopus https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21100943319
-Furthermore, the publisher behind this journal “Auricle” is discussed not positively here on RG. See for example https://www.researchgate.net/post/How_to_solve_Problem_with_publisher and https://www.researchgate.net/post/Journal_of_Advanced_Zoology_ISSN_0253-7214_is_this_journal_hijacked
-Publisher changed according to https://kuey.net/index.php/kuey/announcement while Scopus and SCImago mention (still) Auricle and is/was nonsense since for example in January 2022 it still was Auricle see for example https://kuey.net/index.php/kuey/article/view/398/193
-There are quite some disturbing comments on SCImago https://www.scimagojr.com/journalsearch.php?q=21100943319&tip=sid&exact=no
-Looking at the published papers in for example 2024 I see too many fully unrelated papers (in relation to the title and scope of the journal) and an explosion of the number of accepted and published papers https://kuey.net/index.php/kuey/issue/view/56
Yes please, the Journal of Education Theory and Practice is a reputable journal and its best known for its ability of meeting high standard in every step in the process of journal publication. Notable among them is the peer review process, effect editorial board, and apt academic journal practices
