The raising presence of renewable power plants in large power systems determines the reduction of global inertia and so a modification of the natural answer of the system in case of frequency perturbations. In this context the load damping can help the system to limit the frequency variations. However, also the load mix is changing due to the larger use of power electronics, and so the load damping constant can assume different values. I am looking for experimental data and studies about the new values of such constant.
