In my country, the benefit from a specific paper is proportional according to the sequence of the researcher’s name in the paper, where (100%, 80% and 70%) for the first, the second and the third researcher respectively, and if there are additional researchers, then they will not get any benefit from the research.

I believe that all the contribution researchers should have the same degree of the assesment so they will not care about the sequence of there names

For many North American universities (or at least the ones I have been associated with), there are three positions that count more than the others. First author is the desired spot, but second author is also good (for many projects involving a resident or graduate student, the resident whose project it is will be first author, and the person directly advising that person will take the second spot). Last author is also a desired position, as last position is code for the person in whose lab/research group the study took place: last is often the senior author of the paper.
Supposedly all researchers should have the same degree of the assessment.
