To illustrate,  I have a thermal problem with nonlinear parameters that depend on temperature, for example, dependecne of specific heat Cp(T) on temperature.

and the problem will be solved with Finite Element Method the generated solution will be in Time domain, I want to know if it is possible to generate a solution in the frequency domain by using the Fast Fourier Transform, and what are the effect of the amplitude and the phase angle,

Another point can I neglect the phase angle upon doing the Fast Fourier Transform
