Yes. United, a subsidiary of SABIC has an ethylene plant which feeds an ethylene oxide plant which in turn feeds the glycol plant which makes several glycols, not just TEG. Does this answer your question?
Thanks for the response.I was looking for biosynthesis of TEG in nature "in vivo"/in planta " so that cost of production can be reduced.

I do not know anything about biosynthesis of TEG.
Some sources say it is treated as Newtonian as ethylene glycol has a higher viscosity than water, which affects the flow characteristics in simulations. But some also say it is non-Newtonian.
