There was a lot of interest in about 5 years ago (openSSI, openMOSIX, Kerrighad), but nothing recently. I'm looking for something that can scale processes across a cluster as if they were multiple extra cores on the main computer rather than having to use application specific MPI functions. Does anyone know of a project that is still being maintained (i.e. for Ubuntu 13.04)?
