At first, I want to mix the powder of magnesium and niobium using ball mill, but because the mesh size of the powder is already small, I am thinking of using semi powder metallurgy method to mix both powder. Is it possible?
How small are your metal particles? If they are nanosize disperse them in DI water and use ultra-sonication. You should consider possibility of oxidation of nanometal surface by alcohol. If they are in micron size just simply grind them in mortar.
Ethanol is not a good choice for milling those metal powders because of the possibility of oxidation.
