I'm studying on peace - trying to prove that the holy Quran can be interpreted in a way that leads to a more peaceful world. I do appreciate any help in this regard.
Islam is a religion of peace tolerance, and advancement of good will between Muslims and non-Muslims. The Arabic word “Islam,” meaning both submission to Allah and the maintenance of peaceful relationships with people, is a core concept in Muslim identities and worldviews. There is absolutely no foundation contained in either the Holy Qur’an, or the sayings and acts of the Prophet life, the Hadith, that gives legitimacy to the violence taking place by terrorist militants under the pretext of Islam. Many verses of the Qur'an accentuate the importance of peace and patience for the well-being of all people. I will be back with more information about this timely and highly important question.

While the core component of Islam is against acts of violence, many will use legislated punishments, defensiveness, or war as an argument that "Islam is inherently violent". Through the understanding of the Prophet Muhammad, found in the authenticated Hadith, one can see the highly regulated nature of any act that falls into the contemporary understanding of violence.
1- Analyze "peace" to many concepts that are eligible for questioning the quran.
2- Ask your audit (the Quranic text) for answering these questions.
3- Search the Quran for all verses containing these concepts, their synonymous or anonymous, and other statements are implicitly or explicitly related to peace.
4- Shape conceptual and semantic frameworks.
5- Propose a theoretical framework.
6- Validate the above stages by traditions narrated from the prophet Muhammad and 12 Imams.
Yea you are right and I want to clarify the difference between acts of Muslims and the religion of Islam. I think the main principles in Islam are peaceful and any understanding of Islamic texts must be in agreement with those principles or they can't be considered as Islamic.
Thank you for your helpful note Mr. El-Sayed El-Aswad . I agree with you and try to prove that Islam by itself as introduced in the Quran is peaceful and anti -violence, contrary to some Muslims' attitudes and interpretations of Islam used to justify violence.
The Holy Quran contains many words of tolerance, forgiveness, peace, rejection of aggression, murder, destruction, threats and intimidation of people. The image of the Koran and Islam is a false image.
