Prelims:

1.We define motion as "minimizing potential energy" (e.g., a ball rolling down a hill) energetically (optimization) and as position variation in Newtonian.

2. Force is a Response to Gradients

I.e.force arises from potential gradients (per classical mechanics: F= -nabla U

- This force causes acceleration F= m{a}

- dynamic causalities: Motion can be *initiated*, sustained modified, or halted by this interaction.

. Claim: However, Newton cannot explain the initiation of motion, although it fsires well i all other dynamic causalities.

It seems defining motion vis "when there is displacement, there is motion" is defficient.

Kip relativistic and quantum effects are not predicted by these defs.

P. S. If interested, I write a paper on redifining motion 's velocity to spare spacetime hypothesis, you can find it in my recent research
