Yes it is applicable. You can extract the mushroom sample with different solvents and test the presence of different phytoconstituents.

thank you all :) i will go ahead. one thing about these tests is it uses up up to mgs of extracts? Cause some wild mushrooms are hard to get...nevertheless i guess the weight of the extracts in different test can be scaled down propotionally? regards xx
