From time to time I see announcements of conferences in this Qestions & A nswers section. It seems that the Terms of Service (https://www.researchgate.net/terms-of-service) and the Q&A Guidelines (https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/articles/14295803514001-Q-A-Guidelines) do not say anything about such announcements. It may depend on whether there are commercial interests. See "4.4 Deceptive or commercial practices" in the the Terms of Service.
Yes, you are generally allowed to share advertisements for upcoming scientific training events, such as workshops, on your ResearchGate network.

The platform's terms of service (https://www.researchgate.net/terms-of-service), which Wolfgang R. Dick mentioned led me to finding out about the platform's marketing solutions, and that's quite insightful to me. I often wondered whether the platform offered such services. But now I know for certain. I also don't remember coming across adverts before, and so, thought that it might be against the platform's use policy. So, it was good to know that it isn't, from what Dr Katsaros said. Many thanks indeed for the answers, gentlemen.
