The short answer is no, for several reasons. Firstly, conservation of energy is applicable to closed systems. Secondly, energy dissipation of, say, an acoustic wave amounts to loss of energy to many channels, each of which receives energy from countless sources; it is not possible uniquely to decompose the energy passing through a particular channel and attribute each component part to a specific source. Thirdly, there are thermal and radiation noise abound (think of for instance the cosmic microwave background radiation), leading to the impossibility of distinguishing signal from noise for sufficiently attenuated signals. From the information-theoretic point of view, the possibility to retrieve sound from the past is tantamount to the violation of a generalised second law of thermodynamics and the attendant notion of arrow of time (as discussed by amongst others Prigogine).
