RT-PCR plate with 96 wells was used for the reaction, used half of the wells for one reaction, then for next reaction can we use the same plate by using the unused wells?
Hi there, yes you can use the unused wells, and you will need to select the respective wells while doing analysis. Also its good to mark the wells that are being used to avoid confusion. Hope this helps.
I use non-skirted plates and cut a desired number (depending upon number of reactions) of wells using scissors. You will need adhesive film (to seal your plate) and a heat pad to go between your plate and the PCR lid. Hope you can find more here or from some other supplier http://www.bio-rad.com/en-au/category/pcr-seals
