A few decades earlier it was not reasonable to think information transformation without using conducting medium (wire), but nowadays, we are having high-speed internet connectivity without using conducting wires throughout the globe.
So, is it possible to develop the required technology which allows us to transmit the bulk amount of electric power from one place to the other place without using conducting wire/cable?

It is already there for short ranges and special applications (less than 10s of meters). Increasing the range is the topic of ongoing research, you could check solar based solar power. The current ranges are really low for power system applications.
