DGs and capacitors to improve reliability of distribution network is useful. you can Simulat network with Digsilent and see the Changing your control parameters
Dear Amir , honestly I have little understanding with load flow in DG systems.
Having said that , I would like to point the constraints to improve (may be) reliability & loss(s) . Eg: The load monitoring per group may be Pout and Pin readings !!!!
IEEE 14/30/... bus system is used for smarter grid monitoring (get the specs) . This allows a communication and measurement of voltage, phase and reactive power.
Based on the measurements you can fix the locations or taps to put the capacitors !!!
Thank you for inviting me to participate in this discussion forum about the question related to specific aspects of the characteristics and distribution of information in an electronic network, and how to how to make optimum operation, involving broad and deep knowledge of software engineering and hardware environment,
I regret not having enough technical knowledge to make a valuable contribution on the subject at this time. My skills are more oriented to theoretical and design programs Artificial Intelligence and Nanotechnology applied to medicine aspects.
However I am interested in having more knowledge and learn from the tangible aspects and application of Computer Engineering, in particular being developed based on algorithms and programming language artificial intelligence and its relationship with Creativity and Human Intelligence, in addition to their similarities and differences.
Greetings to all present and future participants of this forum, which I will incline to learn more about the subject it addresses.

PS: By the way I reviewed in summary form the content of the articles proposed by Aparna Murthy, which appear to contain highly relevant and valuable information related to the solution of the problem approach proposed by you

The problem here is to finding DGs location and capacity to optimize three objective functions comprising reducing active power loss (f1); improving voltage stability index (f2); and reducing total voltage variation (f3), subject to constraints. These three
objective functions are converted to one objective function, using the weighting coefficients, and mathematically are formulated as a minimization problem .
