Greetings from Oujda/Morocco and Ramadan Moubaraak to All!
Many peoples ask me same question: How do you, Prof Taibi BEN HADDA, to get more and more paper? Do you have modern laboratory? Do you have many sponsors? Have you 300 PHD students?
My reply is this one:
1- My laboratory is far away to be considered as modern laboratory because there is no IR, no NMR, no UV and no solvents.
2- Concerning Sponsor, I have no one at Morocco.
3- I had one PHD student who finished his thesis it is now 4 years. So I am working alone with my ideas.
4- I have a serious problem with my Stupid/Bad Moroccan English but I have found a solution.
What is my secret?
1- keeping myself modest and happy in presence of peoples...I have no more merit than my other collaborators.
2- loving and looking for new collaborators. It is very nice to learn from Indian, Egyptian, American, Japanees colleagues.
So the collaboration is the key of success and happyness.
I love peoples with new idea...who are generous and ready to discuss and share their amazing idea in chemistry, catalysis, drug design and pharmacology...It is a very nice experience I have with great collaborators.

If you have plan and hypothesis to work on, many of the research aspects may be out sourced. The bioinformatics tool for protein & nucleic acid alignment become very handy to find out homologous or conserved sequences. Thence some experiments using designer primers may be carried out to amplify desired DNA stretched for cloning and expression in suitable vectors, to generate or produced useful proteins or therapeutic molecules. A real passion is the only requirement to work!
