As Natural Science Physics draws its power of analysis from the natural environment. Now since the economic environment (which has been shown to be partly natural by yours truly) can be shown to be integrated with the physical environment like the atmosphere forces operating at one level can create waves at another level and vice versa and hence all our earth based systems are likely to be affected by the forces as well as their fractals which can be systemically analysed as factors. Please refer to my papers on Political Environment and Haag's Theorem which are published papers in top journals in the field and are listed on my RG page, if you will. Hence the probabilistic description and the fundamental quantum nature may arise from natural genetic algorithms factorisation of scientific causality under the "Arrow of Time" postulate for Entropy integration say. This is both an Econophysics (which is statistical ) and Systems (Factorisation and Integral) based explanation which is not exactly Classical Mechanics but Quantum Mechanical in resultant experimental methodology. I apologize for not attending your kind remark on the fundamental nature of physical processes because I've been developing my work on the relationship between classical and quantum mechanics. I have posted it on ResearchGate entitled A GENERALISED NEWTONIAN AND WAVE MECHANICS. I am convinced that Classical Mechanics itself is not complete therefore it cannot be used to describe physical processes in nature completely, and that's probably the reason why quantum theories could play their roles, seemingly fundamentally. In the last few decades I have attempted to show that time can play an active role similar to space and, as a consequence, classical mechanics has a more complete structure. Until quantum physics can be reconciled with classical physics, I think, quantum or classical is more like a belief, because even the most advanced theory in quantum physics cannot be used to describe precisely what a quantum of energy is. However, like any other beliefs, none of them is wrong, just whether it is useful or not.
