On February 20, the Supreme Court ordered time-bound eviction of all those tribals and other forest dwellers whose claims under the Forest Rights Act had been rejected by the authorities.
Ethical or legal? Is never ethical to evict the proper land owners of a territory. Human spicies must learn to live in harmony and to respect the beliefs and lives of others, especially the territory where they legally live.

If you closely look at things, Tribal peoples are the son of the soil, they protect and respect the forest. They never over harvest. Its the fault of our so-called civilized people, industry owners or business-minded people that looks the forest as a source of easy money and destroy the biodiversity and gets away with it.
The tribes are the son of the Forests. They dwell only in forests. However, their future generations need to be educated like Nomads need to be settled. Without affecting their niche they should be taught.
If the cause of evacuation is extra-cultural (say, a wildfire caused by nearby logging efforts), then an extra-cultural evacuation attempt is ethically correct. Assuming that this evacuation order is not in the interest of protection of the indigenous peoples, then the order is unethical, if unsurprising.
