Hello Everyone. I would like to implement Genetic algorithm and Particle swarm optimization on python..
Currently i am working with these algorithms on MATLAB, so will i get any benefit if i will implement these and other algorithms on python that i am not able to get on MATLAB?

Most of the optimization algorithms have been written in MATLAB, especially the nature-inpsired algorithms. GA and PSO have been designed as toolboxes bult-in MATLAB. Generally, you can re-write any algorithm in python.
However, the selection of the programming language depends on the problem that you are trying to solve. For example, If you are trying to enhance a Machine Learning model using PSO, python maybe your first choice because it contains a lot of libraries which may help you to apply them directly. On the other hand, if you are trying to solve an engineering problem, MATLAB maybe more suitable for this kine of problems.

Yes. It is easy and very similar to the MATLAB implementation. Some tutorials are also available on internet to implement these algorithms in Python .
