In 2018, following a long preparation, the Hungrian national DVI Team has been established under the Rapid Response and Special Police Force, Bureau of Investigation (KR NNI). In the June of 2018 fourty applicants (policemen, forensic pathologists and odontologists) finished succesfully the Interpol basic DVI course in Budapest. After the basic course a simulation exercise were held in the cooperation of Semmelweis University, Budapest (SE), National University of Public Service, Budapest (NKE) and KR NNI.
