If you have no passion, or not interested in a subject, or hate the subject, the possibility are high that you will not be interested in learning the subject or doing good. I think this is complex.

Happiness tends to be an outcome of something else - worthwhile challenge, the send of doing some good and of personal achievement, working with other people.

But not all learning produces happiness, certainly in the short run. In fact at the stage of struggling with a tricky concept as you exercise your tenacity it can feel anything but happiness. Sometime the feeing of well-being comes later once you reflect ion learning well-done.

In the state of flow, when you are totally engrossed in something, it is often the case that you are not really aware of what you are thinking or feeling, other than being rapt in your learning.

what I meant to ask is that when the students learn in a happy environment then the educational outcomes are achieved more properly and thus the education is more effective?
