I am interested in finding the effects of technology on the learning achievement of students. The data collection will include pre and post test scores of the experiment group and later interviews will be conducted to support the results collected in the first phase.

the right response to this question depends on your research questions and hypotheses. Here are some details anyone would need in order to chose the right design:
What do you mean by technology use and by student achievement? How do you plan to measure each?
What is the difference between the experimental and the control condition(s)?

Thanks for your help Sven Greving ! The question would be something like
- What are the effects of a tablet use on the English test scores of the underprivileged children, studying in a public school of a developing country.
- How has the students behavior changed as a result of using a tablet in school.
The experimental group will be provided tablets for a period of 3 months and the control group will be studying in a traditional classroom setting. Quantitative data will be collected through Pre and Post test scores and semi-structured interviews will be conducted later to elaborate on the findings of the first phase.
Your design does have the format for an explanatory sequential design (QUAN --> qual), but this typically uses the qualitative follow-up study to help understand the results from the quantitative study. Instead, you said that you want "to support the results collected in the first phase." That sounds more like examining whether the two different methods produce similar results, which is not an explanatory sequential design, because it does not involve "explaining" the QUAN results.
