If the duty cycle variation is large (i.e input voltage and output voltage both are varying (D=00.13 to D=0.96 )) then usage of coupled inductor in multiphase interlieved buck converter is useful from EMI, cost and the ripple reduction point of view??

The coupled inductor reduces per-phase current ripple that means smaller losses and/or smaller per phase inductance, the output/input current ripple it does not reduce but as it is multiphase structure with interleaved currents the output/input ripple is small. The main drawback is that fast current control loop in each phase is required to prevent saturation of coupled inductors.
