New Mexico) will prove less viable there by 2030 and have ideal range nearly 200 miles north of its present range. How will it get there? Note: I am the activist who conducted the 2008 "assisted migration" of the endangered Torreya taxifolia conifer tree into the mountains of North Carolina.
