Is anyone familiar with using Adegenet for creating spatial plots of microsat data?

I'm looking into using Adegenet to create spatial plots for my microsat data. I've got the basic program working, but as I'm looking to create the plots I'm unsure how to know if the parameters I'm setting (for example for K) are feasible. I'm looking for anyone who has some experience in what these outcomes might look like or how to know if you are getting a reasonable output or even where to start and stop the basic input parameters? Thanks!
