This tool is freely available on the web, under both names.

As far as I can tell, it was first released under the name WEB and then changed to the more neutral sounding Relationships Assessment Tool. Some versions have the scale going from Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree, while others have the reverse. So, I have three questions:

1) From a measurement perspective, is it better to go in one direction or the other in terms of numbering and agree/disagree? and

2) Does anyone know anything about the using this instrument in terms of copyrights, etc.? and

3) This scale is about 20 years old now. Do we know if it still "holds up" as a scale, or is there a better way to measure coercion (without asking 100 questions)?

BTW, the scale is also available in Spanish.

THANKS
