Is an autism an evolutionary adaptation to an environment requiring less socialization(as a recessive trait), yet epigenetic damage causes disability?
Further elaboration would be great.
One indicator is autism’s correlation with testosterone thus, autistic biological males, without significant disabilities, may lead evolutionary waves.
“Results: It has been found that serum testosterone levels of patients with lower autistic traits are significantly lower than those with moderate and severe autistic traits, while the serum oxytocin levels are significantly higher. Also, patients with severe autistic traits have had significantly higher serum androstenedione levels than those with lower and moderate autistic traits.
Conclusion: This study suggests that patients who have higher autistic traits have elevated testosterone and androstenedione levels and lower serum oxytocin levels. Further studies are needed to clarify this relationship“(Article The Association Between Autistic Traits and Serum Testostero...
).“Studies have shown that children with autism tend to have higher levels of testosterone in their bodies than children without autism“( https://www.crossrivertherapy.com/autism/testosterone ).
“Epigenetic information polish then recessive privilege distribution. WARNING: Genetic engineering is DANGEROUS. Hopefully regularly polishing the epigenome will cure aging and other diseases, plus prevent side effects of genetic engineering. Also, hopefully and theoretically after the potential genetic engineering to provide recessive traits and recessive genes, if the surgery is simple enough, subjects will keep their genetic signatures.”
