The Binary Operating System/s works on a three dimensional plane to describe events native to these dimensions. It would seem to me that having a more efficient "RESOLVING third or more element (multi-dimensional capability) would exponentially increase computational power and fidelity that could lead to qualitative and quantitative synthesis not available to us now, Why do we need it? The natural world can be simulated and better described without numbers. It already operates with a unique language we seem not to be interpreting (accurately) with our numbers.

The main reason for the binary system is for hardware reasons. The hardware works with high and low voltages. It would be hard to evaluate other levels in between and the transitions. The way we codify in software (operating system and other applications) is a different issue. We often use the hexadecimal system (base 16). Even in hardware, DVD, Hard drives work in a binary system, for technological reasons. You can codify and de-codify information in any other format.

This is great news! I believe this can lead to a very efficient "organic" approach to a Qualitative Information and Quantitative data synthesis f-or 'flavor blending'. It starts with the definition of Consciousness which is "EVERYTHING". A system that can Gather, Sort and Taxonomize everything is the process that is then broken 'd-own' into Body, Mind and Spirit. Spirit here is any and all dynamic forms of energy starting with thought, action and the distillation towards the essence of things. The threefold as the basic model of the primary construction of elements of matter is the symmetry process to begin with. The laws of numbers 0 to 9, 16 or any other can then be extrapolated into their unique frequencies to align with the basic nature of the thing, the process or its energy. Every expression of consciousness has its code (DNA) or unique frequency and therefore flavor which is the blend of quantitative, psychological or behavioral dynamics and essences. Analysis, Synthesis and Consciousness. DNA might be the environment for this creative process. Here is another kicker. The Kundalini is a fundamental creative process for humans and some life forces. The number here is seven (7). It is thought to be a psychological system but I believe it is much more than it seems. Here is where the mathematics (combinatorial) geometry comes into play. The 3 of the threefold system in the 4 fold world of forces gives us the 7. Metaphysics tells us that the three is above the four to become the seven. Ancient wisdom traditions and knowledge which is constantly unfolding is now correlating with quantum theory in its own synthesis that we are not paying attention to. As a result our materialistic focus is always going to be a 1/3 of any illusions we have about the myth completeness.Nothing can ever be complete and will therefore be uncertain. If a system with a more holistic predictable power than we now have never crunched a number it could still be a qualitative too that can be extremely useful. Your answers have truly inspired me. I look to maths to understand the tragectory of a tennis ball in flight. If i know the weight of the ball, initial speed, angle of launch, precise gravity and windage effects then I can precisely calculate where the ball will be at any instant in time. How then does a dog manage to catch the ball in mid-air? How does the dog know so quickly and precisely when and where it must jump to intercept the ball in flight?

Thanks James! (HNY)- What if there are three known elements plus a fourth (or more) indeterminate possibility. This could be the Quantum Theory ideal. Linearity does not play any part in the dog's process. It is connected to a source of spontaneous, omni-multi reckoning capability (intuition we call it) dynamic. My premise for this idea comes from observing nature and how it relates to consciousness. This is the scaffold to everything theories. The Law of three (3) body, mind and spirit operates on the same 'holistic' level the dog does. It integrates or synthesizes all the information in the fiend of its discourse discussion or expressions to create a blend we call a sol-ution.
The 3 of the higher order of thought with the 4 of the force fields they interact with and in gives us the 7 Foldness symmetry that is at the root of everything. This is a totally qualitative process that we are unable to measure with instruments. The mind however is the ultimate instrument and the 'portal for our thoughts in the synthesized field (SINGULARITY) of Wisdom, Intelligence, Knowledge and Information or WIKI. wisdom traditions blended with the western scientific knowledge. Many-valued logic is not a new concept and goes back to 1837 as cited by Nicholas Rescher in his book titled: "Many-Valued logic" first published in 1969 by McGraw-Hill.
Nevertheless, this is an ongoing research and I am working with one of my PhD students to implement an arithmetic part of an ALU for it and currently trying to convince journals to publish our results in which Paulo's concerns are also addressed and solved.
From my point of view, your original question is somehow too early to be asked, since there is no multi-valued processor available yet to even have a computer built using it and to have an operating system working on it. At the same time, there is not yet any agreement on the type of logic that is acceptable for this purpose.
As I read your comments and your question, I noticed that you are using types/labels instead of numbers in your drawings. This is not many-valued arithmetic or logic and I guess you are mixing things up. I suggest you present your argument using only integer numbers.

The IEEE has an annual conference "IEEE International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic" that covers various topics in many-valued logic. I believe that there has been some preliminary work on hardware for multiple-valued logic, so these papers may give you some ideas as well.

Numbers, qualities and flavors are used by nature to blend flavors and to create. This is not many-valued arithmetic or logic and I guess you are mixing things up. I totally agree. That is exactly the point- I need to blend them not mix them. I suggest you present your argument using only integer numbers. The physics of color has a logic based on three colors one system for pigments one for light. If this works for light which is at the base of everything in the universe why can we not reverse everything to the principle of light and get to higher levels of not just calculation but creation? The disconnect between metaphysics and the known realities of disciplines keep us from becoming holistic and more organic-just my O-pinion. Thanks
Ps I have a system of numbers that demonstrate how the decimal number system is derived by distributing the first three numbers or digits 1-2-3 in a three fold frequency. It aligns with all other flavors and forces in the 3D world and mindset we now operate in and with. We are moving to 4th-5th and higher dimensions in this new paradigm we need to be embracing right now. This is some scary stuff but someone has to think it into reality. Enjoy your holidays!
Hello Old Paradigm World! The goal of evolution as in creative change and positive growth etc. is to return to SINGULARITY; the SOURCE of all arising. The language used here should give us clues about which paradigms we use to understand the thesis. Are we capable of being open? To all those who are please follow the process. I am certain that we are moving beyond the third dimensional, materialistic 'paradigm' that has exhausted its own physical, dynamic and energy potential to be of any use to our planet and to life in general. An this is before we consider the uselessness of our current social, moral and common sense contributions to the miasma. No one seems to have a clue about this phenomena nor what can be done about it. Lets use the Binary system as the metaphor for the 3 Dimensional "REALITY" that our expanding consciousness is now extracting us from. The framework for operating in multiple dimensions that we are moving towards is being created , as we read and perhaps understand it. The linear languages we use to describe multidimensional processes of forms, qualities (SUCHNESS) and higher dimensions (MUCHNESS) BODY; states MIND and SPIRIT all synthesized into (CONSCIOUSNESS) are insufficient and limited. I believe that synthesis is the heuristic bridge for exploring the notion of consciousness to be defined and ACCEPTED, in harmony, as Body, Mind and Spirit as the continuum that weaves its way through all expressions of "REALITY". How we describe this process is not with complexity but with simple ideas we all can understand and apply to our lives as we transform our mindset and begin to embrace the possibilities our future will be offering us in the extrapolations of PERIOD-I-CITIES in our own SPACE-TIME-ENERGY PARADIGMS.
